Privacy Policy

Last updated: [add date] · Ounkulz Group Ltd.

This policy explains what information O-FEED (a product of Ounkulz Group Ltd.) collects from people who use the app, and how it's used. It's written in plain language to describe what the app actually does.

Information we collect

  • Account details — your email address and password when you register or sign in.
  • Profile information — your name, a short bio, and a profile photo, if you choose to add them.
  • Marketer or Employer verification — if you list products or jobs, we collect business details such as company name, address, phone number, and a shop or logo image, so buyers and job seekers know who they're dealing with.
  • Content you post — Market listings, Job listings, comments, and likes.
  • Usage information — which posts you've viewed (tracked per browser session, not permanently tied to you), and how many Ounzy AI questions you've asked, so free daily limits can be enforced.
  • Push notification data — if you enable notifications, your browser gives us a subscription endpoint and encryption keys so we can deliver alerts. This only happens if you grant permission.
  • Payment status — if you subscribe to O-FEED Plus, our payment processor (Paystack) tells us your subscription status and a reference code. We do not see or store your card number, PIN, or bank details — Paystack handles that directly.

Cookies & local storage

The app uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember which posts you've already viewed, and stores a few small preferences in your browser (such as light/dark mode, and unsaved drafts in tools like the Invoice Maker) so you don't lose your place. These stay on your device and aren't sent to us.

How we use this information

  • To run the core features of the app — showing your feed, listings, comments, and likes.
  • To verify Marketer and Employer accounts, and display that information to other users (for example, a seller's shop location, or an employer's logo).
  • To send you push notifications, only if you've opted in.
  • To process and manage O-FEED Plus subscriptions through Paystack.
  • To answer questions you ask Ounzy AI, and to enforce free-tier daily usage limits.
  • To keep the platform safe — for example, preventing spam or abuse.

Advertising

O-FEED displays third-party ads (via Monetag) within the Feed and Vault reading experience. These ad partners may use their own cookies or similar technology to serve and measure ads; that is governed by their own privacy practices, not this one.

Who we share information with

We don't sell your personal information. We share only what's needed to operate the service, with:

  • Paystack, to process payments and subscriptions;
  • our hosting and file storage providers, to run the app and store uploaded images;
  • Monetag, to serve ads within the app;
  • other users, for information you choose to make public — such as a Market listing's shop location, or your username on a comment.

Your choices

You can edit or remove most profile information yourself from your Profile page. You can turn off push notifications at any time from your browser or device settings. If you'd like your account or data deleted, contact us (see Contact page) and we'll handle the request directly.

Children

O-FEED is intended for business owners, job seekers, and working adults. It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app's features change. We'll update the date at the top when we do.
